Fun, friendship and trying something new and exciting, that’s what Round Table is all about.

From sports to pub socials, from raising money for charity to family social events, Round Table prides itself on giving its members the chance to embrace life to the full.

You get a ready made set of best mates, making it easy to belong to one of the worlds greatest young men’s clubs.  Taking part in Table activities and events is not only fulfilling but will build leadership, social and presentation skills.  Being a member of Round Table can help you enhance your personal strengths like no other organisation.  Having great fun and enjoying new experiences is at the very heart of Round Table. It opens up wonderful opportunities to meet new friends from your local town, across the UK and across the world.

So if you live in Colchester and want to meet new friends from all walks of life and get the chance to broaden your horizons get in touch.

I wanted to get out and try some new activities with a group of like minded people and become involved in helping the local community. One evening I went along to along to a curry where it was immediately apparent Colchester Table was exactly what I was looking for – a group of likeable, straightforward blokes who have a laugh (usually at each other’s expense) while doing some good for others. – John H, current CRT367 member

Colchester Round Table is open to men aged 18-45.  The idea of the group is to meet twice a month for social activities, charitable fund raising and some networking.  We put the emphasis on the social side, and have a packed schedule of events for the year (see our Calendar of events).

Colchester Round Table is a great way to meet new people, and to develop lifelong friends.  You don’t have to make a serious commitment, and you don’t need to come to every event.  When you do come along, you pay for each event as you go.

Colchester Round Table is a registered charity, and we do regularly participate in charitable fund raising.  All our proceeds are donated to good causes in and around Colchester.  We don’t just give to charity, we also donate to other individuals and worthy causes, so long as they are for the benefit of people who live in and around Colchester.  See our news section for further information, or contact us if you would like to apply for funds.

In terms of our regular commitments, we are running the Colchester Carnival in 2011, and we also have a regular Christmas charity street collection.

We would like to invite you to one of our meetings as a guest.  Come along and see what we get up to.
